Looking for a Therapist
Looking for the right therapist for you or your child/family is important and can be an overwhelming process. I applaud you for taking this first step towards emotional health. On my website, I hope you will find helpful information about me, my training, and approach to treatment. My practice strives to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment for you to feel heard. I am a warm and interactive therapist who wants to understand what you are going through and help you get to where you want to be. By working together and understanding your needs, I can help you develop skills, coping strategies, and insights so you can optimize your emotional health.
Meet Kwai
I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist since 1999 and have had a private practice specializing in children, teens, adults, couples and families for the past twenty years. I received by B.A. Cum Laude in Psychology from Amherst College in Massachusetts and my Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington. I completed my clinical psychology internship at Stanford University and my postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
In addition to my private practice, I worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado for over a decade holding positions in the Departments of Psychiatry, Adolescent Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine and the Eating Disorder Program. I have taught graduate courses and supervised clinical psychology students at The University of Denver. I regularly lecture to medical and mental health professionals, schools, students, and parents in the Denver about topics related to mental health.
Personally, I am from the Denver area originally, and am so happy I was able to return to Colorado after completing my training. I believe that my education and training in different clinical settings, along with my life experience as a parent allows me to be a more insightful and empathetic therapist who can help my patients become their best selves.

My private practice is located in Centennial, and it serves patients in the surrounding south metro areas of Denver. I provide services in my office in Centennial and also provide Telehealth therapy.
